The Reverend
Michael K. Gurnick
Dear Friend,
Thank you for visiting clevelandcatholicpriesthood.com. Whether this is your first visit or you are a returning guest, I hope you find our site helpful and informative.
Be sure to visit us on a regular basis as we observe this Year for Priests which begins on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart (June 19). This year-long observance, with special reflection on the life of Saint John Vianney as patron of all priests, invites the Catholic community to reflect on the beautiful gift of the priesthood. This year is also an invitation for priests throughout the world to be renewed in our commitment to Christ as we strive for a deeper holiness and a more generous response to serve God’s people.
Be sure to check out our link to various sites about the Holy Year for Priests and the life of Saint John Vianney. We will also be offering some ideas for observing this special year in parishes, school, and youth/young adult settings.
Also, please be sure to contact me if you would like further information about our programming or discernment opportunities here in the Diocese of Cleveland.
I would ask you to continue to pray for our bishops, priests and seminarians as we observe with great devotion this year of grace.
Thank you for your continued prayerful support and for your interest in our work as we strive to build a culture for vocations in the Church.
Gratefully in Christ,
Father Michael K. Gurnick
Coordinator of Vocations for the Diocesan Priesthood
Recruiter, Diocesan Seminaries
